Technical exercises of shooting in the 9/16 vertical video format. The study of the vertical framing and the composition of the scene in relation to the subjects present. The course involves using a smartphone and / or a digital camera and an editing program. The teaching is by Salvatore Marino.
DIRECTOR
DIRECTING THE SCENE
The lesson in direction takes place by involving the students of the acting course. The scenic directing exercises also include the use of smartphones and / or digital cameras. The scenes treated in the directing course are extrapolated from theatrical works, cinematographic works or the result of improvisation. Students have the possibility to propose scenes from theatrical or cinematographic works to practice with.

FILM SCRIPT
WRITE THE SCENE VERTICALLY
Before making a film, its images and sounds, there is an idea. This idea must be articulated, clarified, defined. It must also take the shape of story, to be told through images. Hitchcock considered a well-scripted film to be a pre-made film. You will learn to maintain and intensify the interest, empathy, involvement and full participation of the viewer. You will acquire the knowledge of alphabetic letters of the cinematographic language and how to combine them. You will learn the basic principles of dramaturgy, the most important narrative techniques. You will develop your skills in conceiving and expressing characters and writing a script. ACTING
ACTING ALSO VERTICALLY
The acting course is aimed at those who want to try their hand at the theatrical scene, and how to develop their communication and expressiveness while having fun. The lessons of the acting course have a playful approach and focus on the essential techniques of acting practice: body language, managing expressiveness within a vertical frame, improvisation of individual and group scenes and situations; conscious use of the stage space (posture, positioning, direction, movement); training on variation of rhythm and energy in the scene, study of the theatrical monologue and its interpretation.

Vocal and gestural training to structure impactful speeches and interventions, using the best communication techniques. DICTION
SPEAKING WITHOUT DEFECTS
The diction course is open to everyone. It is a course designed for beginners, aimed at workers, students or who simply wants toimprove. It is often thought that clean diction is an exclusive necessity of the actors. But that is not so. Everyone should take a course in diction. The course is open to everyone but it is definitely essential for lawyers, doctors, teachers, politicians, salesmen, psychologists, actors, speakers and all professionals who have direct contact with the public. There is no age limit, it is suitable from 16 onwards and the classes are very heterogeneous. You will eliminate dialect cadences and correct pronunciation defects. The lesson is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. From the very beginning, you will have the didactic handout to study the rules of diction and follow the theory, thereafter moving on to practice, applying practical exercises, targeted to your need. HISTORY OF THE THEATER
KNOWING THE THEATER FROM ITS ORIGINS
The course includes “The history of theater” by Silvio D’Amico as a textbook. This course is aimed at spectators, readers and the curious who wish to learn or deepen theories, testimonies and tools of theatrical writing through the study of the major classical and contemporary authors. A journey through the history of dramaturgy of all times, from Greek tragedies to the twentieth-century avant-gardes, from the heroes and heroines of Shakespeare to Beckett’s plays, tracing an evolving vocabulary between styles, genres and compositional techniques that continue to keep alive the rite of the word.

THE STANISLAVSKIJ TECHNIQUE
Psychotechnics is the scenic exercise through which reminiscence helps to recover lived emotions from the memory to re-propose them on stage through the character. In psychotechnics there are psychological presuppositions, a scenario that is prepared and foreseen, within the limits of which the actor identifies with a given personal situation.
